Andy Wilson is the Chief Development Officer (CDO) at Feeding America, the largest hunger-relief organization in the U.S. Feeding America recovers more than 3.5 billion pounds of food that otherwise would go to waste each year and delivers it to more than 40 million people struggling with hunger via a network of 200 food banks and 60,000 pantries and meal operations. Andy oversees Corporate Partnerships, Foundation Relations and Major Gifts, which collectively raised more than $130 million in fiscal year 2018. He also serves as staff liaison for the Food Security Council, a body of leading corporate CEOs helping Feeding America leverage technology to advance its mission.
Andy joined Feeding America in 2017 after spending two years as Vice President of Development for the International Fund for Animal Welfare (IFAW) and seven years at Conservation International as Vice President of Development and Corporate Relations. Andy served as Regional Vice President at the Eurasia Foundation for Central Asia and Eastern Europe from 2003-2008, and he spent five years as a private business owner in Russia in the shipping and logistics sector. He began his career working as an assistant to the Ambassador at the U.S. Embassy in Moscow.
Andy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Economy and Russian Studies from Princeton University and an Executive Master of Business Administration from Georgetown University.
