Mark Stanley launched Literatu into the K-12 education market in 2012. After 20 years of commercial software development in the banking and financial markets, Mark’s passion for data-driven innovation turned to the Education market after he sold his award winning Risk Management software and his two sons started high school, all in the same year. Literatu has won three significant international awards, including BETT Asia 2014, for it’s leading cloud delivered adaptive assessment platform. Mark firmly believes that data holds the biggest single influence over the future of personalised learning and education. An interest in the power of data is all that is needed for every school to embed personalised and adaptive learning capabilities into the professional repertoire of every teacher. Literatu has three key distributors in Asia with a rapidly expanding user base that is projected to grow to over 300,000 students off the back of contracts recently signed with major education providers across Singapore, Philippines and Cambodia. Mark lives in Sydney with his family, leads the Literatu team, travels extensively in Asia and is on the Board of Directors of a large Private School in Sydney. By profession Mark is a Chartered Accountant, B. Business and Comp Science from UTS Sydney.
